Be the Eye Grabber

Edited By: on December 27, 2011

Well when we think 31st December, we think hot sexy dresses!  I say be different, make a style statement without following the herd. So here are 5 looks that would set you apart but are yet in vogue.

Look 1: The Sequence Ensemble

Be it the blazer, the skirt or might as well be the boots! It completely adds the bling to your outfits and makes you look like a million bucks. Team it up with bold colors like red or ultramarine blue or pair it with understated grey denims and you are good to go. Accessories can be to the bare minimum with either a watch or a waist belt giving you the perfect fashionista look.

Look 2: The Neon Look

Neon colors attract a lot of attention, so make sure you have the right attitude to carry off these colors. But nevertheless you can always experiment by choosing chunky neon chains or belts, to start with. There are a lot of neon jackets, hair extensions and shoes available to make you visible even in the darkest of rooms. If you are planning to go into a party with a lit up venue then make sure to choose neon color’s like hot pink or orange that make you stand out but at the same time suit your personality. Pair it with a pair of pearl bracelets or a leather clutch and you are set. Let the boldness show.

Look 3: One Of A Kind Extravaganza

This look is totally personally. It is about wearing the one exquisite piece you own. It could be anything ranging from a pair of animal print boots to a dress made up of studs to a trail of beads! Yes it is going the Lady Gaga style, so go on get out your creativity and design yourself the best damn thing.  Pair it with subtle accessories like nude heels and a black clutch; let your design speak for yourself. This is completely based on your style so here the comfort levels are high. My advice, make it in a manner such that you can alter and use this piece again as another garment or accessory in itself, cause I bet its bound to attract a lot of deserving attention

Look 4: Mix and Match Poopers

Not all of us have the time to prepare for New Years Eve in advance, so for all the last minute people, go raid your wardrobe! I am sure you will either have ruffles, animal prints, bright colors, sequenced tops, blazers and a few other party clothes. It is simple, match up a sequenced top with a bright color skirt or pair high waisted jeans with ruffles or the best wear a blazer with a bright tube dress. Jazz this up with a lot of accessories and a pair of colored heels if you are in boring black. So keep working in peace.

Look 5: Do The Extra Bit

Well, dress up in a simple outfit, accessorize it with classic jewelry and add the funk to it by doing an updo. YES! An updo. Play around with your hair a bit, cut it or curl it. Use a wig and style it. This will not grab eyeballs but also make it all the more exciting for you to dress up.  It is going a long way but if you’re in it to have the fun, well this is superfun. So bring it on.

I hope these looks inspire you to break the barriers of clichéd dressing and wishing all the readers a happy new year in advance. Hope you personalize it ;)
