A few days before my wedding, I was looking at the various pictures shared by my friends of their own wedding. A few were really good while most of the others looked nearly same. I decided to beat them all and have the best wedding album. You don’t have the best wedding until you get at least a hundred likes on the facebook wedding album. So, mediocre stuff wasn’t going to work for me. Half my work was already done. The photographer was selected. I had seen his work and liked it. I made a mental list of the various poses in which the pics had to be clicked. All set, I was waiting for the D-day.

January is already coming to an end. Needless to say, February will approach soon and so will 14 Feb. So all the committed boys and girls will throng gift shops and run helter-skelter to choose that perfect gift for his/her partner.
‘GUYS’. They are the sole reason for a girl’s angst. You can never understand them. Even after all these millennia of co-existence, the male species remain alien to the female species. The much cliched ‘Men are from Mars and women are from Venus” seems so true. I am sure all the guys must be thinking the same about their female counterparts. But believe me, women are easier to understand. If you still disagree, let me explain.
Everyone talks about how to save oneself from heartbreak, tips on how to work things out in a relationship, what type of person not to be with, what type of relationship not to be in.
The ‘Perfect Recipe to Heartbreak’ is dedicated to all those people who have been hurt, those that have hurt someone, and those that even after knowing the pitfalls of falling in love – have taken the risk, and continue to do so over and over again.
So, what is it about love that entices people to it?
First and foremost is the feeling of being wanted. The feeling that some person likes you and wants you is unmatchable. For someone you are the most beautiful girl in the world. He would rather spend time with you than go to a club partying with friends. That’s huge and it makes you feel so happy.
What is it that attracts one to another – is it similarities in personality, is it differences of opinion, common ground, money or physical appearances?? – ‘innumerable factors’ say the wise.
But here’s what I really love:
The game is in the hand of the one who dominates. Not because he has that quality ..but because he is ‘practical’. He knows how to define terms…how to give names. And the poor or rather nincompoop dependent is a slave. Not because he is weak…but because for him love hold no terms. It is undefined. Selfless.
