When Geek met chic; so what does the name suggest you? Errr..Well, do not make your brains churn because what I am talking about here is not for the mind but the little heart in you to hear. If you’ve ever dreamt about a Fashion Wonderland, then your wait is over as I am just going to take you there.


“When Geek met Chic” is not just a Fashion blog but all that a girl would dream to see and be in. It is a documentation of fashion, style and everything else that lies in between.

The blog came in to being when two childhood friends, two diverse minds of varied tastes, but one commonality, that is fashion decided to present to the world what they think about “Fashion”.  Aditi M. and Shruti D who “live” fashion came up with this blog and have been giving their followers and fellow bloggers’ high doses of fashion since the blog’s inception. “Overcast by a spell of delusion we are self-proclaimed connoisseurs of design. We feel, nay, sense the magic and the mystery that lies in the enchanting world of design. We love to delve into the minds of these architects and endeavour to unmask what makes them who they are; what makes them design the clothes, accessories they do and what is it that elevates them to a level, far, far above the rest. We enjoy decoding the metamorphoses and transformation that design brings not only to fabric, but also to the wearer, thus making them jet setters in their own eyes”, these Fashionistas tell us.

Although their first love is Fashion but they love playing around this all the things that this word surrounds. “There is a lot that lies between us and this world of myriad hues and tones like the talented people who craft these lovely dreams into tangible reality”, they Cupid Speaks.

It’s all about their love for fashion which has bought Aditi, a law intern and Shruti, a Fashion PR to do something like this.

What style means to you?
In our opinion, style encompasses individuality & expression.
It’s an ode of sorts, giving each one of us the ticket to self-liberation.
Never have we equated style with solely clothes, handbags and shoes.
For us, it extends to music, art, writing and possibly everything you
can lay your hands on.  Style transcends everything. It makes you who YOU are!

 

Akshita’s Review:

When geek met chick is the necessary daily dose for all you geeks and chicks out there. I give all the 10 stars to it for making fashion tips and tricks handy and easy for everyone. It is must read.
