Kalyug Ka SWAYAMVAR

Marriages are said to be made in heaven and celebrated on earth. It is a special bond shared between two souls, who tie the wedding knot after promising to be companions for a lifetime. It is a    relationship between two people where there is respect, trust and love for each other. First it was Rakhi Sawant then it was Rahul Mahajan and now it’s none other than our own “Lalli”, Ratan Rajput who these days has taken a break from her serial and can be seen busy in he “SWAYAMVAR” where she is all set to get married and is in search for the right life partner for herself.

There was a time where girls were very shy even if they were asked about their marriage but today it seems that it has become a trend to find one’s soul mate in front of the world. Where we could only see swayamvar’s taking place only in earlier times when we saw serials like but our controversial queen Rakhi Sawant brought this concept back with a bang. Her swayamavar was ‘zara hatke’ style cause it did all the ritual’s needed to do before marriage but when the D-Day arrived things turned out to be little different and we could never see the marriage happening, on the other hand  Mr. Mahajan got married to a girl named Dimpy. Both these swayamvar’s were able to bag lot of TRP’s for the Imagine channel therefore the channel decided go ahead with the same concept and now it was Ratan Rajput who wanted to experience this fairy tale journey and find perfect husband for herself from around the corners of the world.

The question which pops up here is that has people become so casual these days that they can go to any extent to get fame; they can play with lives of people and get into cheap controversy. According to one of the contestant of Rakhi ka swayamwar (who’s name was asked not to be disclosed) said that the whole swayamvar was fake and they were all provided with scripts for each and every word they spoke. However nothing can be said about Rahul’s or Ratan’s swayamwar but however after seeing the graph of Ratan’s show it can’t be denied too that though she has left her previous serial she hasn’t left her acting skills!!

Where once swayamvar was considered to be very sacred, today people are trying their best to get fame, TRP’s, entertainment through such things. RATAN KA SWAYAMVAR which is in its last stage these days where only 5 contestants are left has led Ratan in lots of confusion where she needs choose correct partner for herself. Now I only wish that Ratan’s marriage doesn’t turn out to be like Rakhi Sawant’s swayamvar and also what happened with Dimpy Mahajan after few weeks of her marriage and hopefully she is able to find the correct partner for herself and always stay happily married. Here we can very well say that for “Marriages” it is rightly said “ jo khae pachtaye jo, na khae who pachtaye” and definitely wherever and whatever these celebrities do nobody can take out this attention seeking habit from these celeb’s and today in this hoard of reality show reality seems to be so unreal.
