Ingredients

  • 50g Water
  • 250g Eggless Bake Mix (Dr. Oetker Funfoods)
  • 65g Butter
  • 150g Mixed Fruit Jam

Note

Tips: Add 2 pinches powdered clove, 1 heaped tbsp. cinnamon powder and 1 tbsp. ground almonds in dough to get an Austrian Linzer Tarte. Alternatively, fill with apricot, raspberry or pineapple jam.

Directions

Step 1
Pre-heat oven at 180°C
Step 2
Mix well bake mix, melted butter and water. Knead until smooth dough is formed.
Step 3
Grease and flour a 7inch (18cm) dia. baking pan. Roll out half the dough slightly bigger than the baking pan and stick overlapping part to the sides to prevent jam from overflowing.
Step 4
Spread jam on dough. Roll out rest of the dough, cut in 10-12 pieces and out it in a grid pattern
on top of the jam.
Step 5
Bake for 30 mins. or until a toothpick/knife inserted in the center, comes out clean.
