Murder Two : Sequal of Murder [Movie Review]
Murder 2 is an erotic thriller set in Goa, starring Emraan Hashmi, Jacqueline Fernandes and Prashant Narayanan. It is a sequel to the 2004-hit,Murder. The Murder tag makes the movie seem synonymous with sleaze but in reality it has much more to offer this time. It has a strong story (directly lifted from The Chaser, a Korean action film) and is darker and more erotic than the original.
Emraan Hashmi plays the role of Arjun Bhagwat, an ex-cop who has a hand in every criminal-pie in Goa but still has a conscience. He is in a confused relationship with Priya (Jacqueline Fernandes). In his undying quest to make money, he meets Sameer, a pimp who is facing a tough time because of the mysterious disappearance of his hookers. Sameer offers him a huge amount to locate the missing girls. His search leads him to Dheeraj Pandey (Prashant Narayanan), a deranged artist who derives sadistic pleasure in killing and dismembering humans. The story unfolds dramatically from here on.
