“Plight”

plight

There she is,

That Psyche Whore,

Lying dead,

On that cold icey floor.

She says nothing,

And barely move,

But crawls rarely,

To the window,

Towards the moon.

With no one in the room,

but something from the past,

something bitter,

which is holding her fast

she scratches herself,

and then she screams,

responds to it,

frighteningly as it seems.

she screams and screams,

and screams and screams.

Leave me alone,

That’s what she screams

and then her body get stiff like a stone

and all she do,

she quietly moan.

And then she look,

Deep into my eyes

as i step in,

to ease her cries,

she hides her face,

into my arms,

As i caress her cheeks

with my palm.

With a trembling and a surrendering voice,

She whispers “Ma”,

puzzling me, but i remain quiet.

Gradually she eases down her hold,

and softly murmures “Can u sing a song”,

For once at least,

so that i can leave,

Away from these flesh eating beast,

To a different world, some place better,

where i wont be served,

on a lusty platter.

And suddenly,

She stops pleading,

She Stops bleeding,

and stops breathing

And then i cry,

with peace on my mind,

tears rolls down,

but i smile,
