Ragini MMS Circulated and Stolen From Paranormal Activity? [Movie Review]

Finally, after the humongous publicity by steamy trailers and blah-blah statements from yesteryears actors “Ragini MMS – The Movie” is now buffering in the nearest theaters. The excitement about the whole movie not only suggests a complete package of thrill and erotica but as the trailer hints, the movie is going to be horrifying. The trailers are persuading enough to drag a viewer with a taste of horror to reach the cinema but those who are looking out for true genuine and thrill and horror may get disappointed.

PLOT:

The plot of the movie revolves around a weekend trip of a couple Ragini (Kainaz motivala) and Uday, who move to their friend’s farmhouse to have some dirty fun time. This date gets interesting when they do not realize that the whole house is rigged with cameras intending to record their love making as a "MMS". When things start getting heated up among the couple is when the camera starts rolling and capturing spirits moving and smoky images. Doesn’t that remind you of something? TRIVIA:

The plot seems to very similar to the Hollywood Movie of 2007 “Paranormal Activity”. The same rigged house, camera works with night vision and the shady house were no ones ever comes. There is definitely difference in the way how the couple in Ragini MMS – The Movie are more horny than the married couple of Paranormal Activity but if we take an overlook of the movie the whole idea seems to be replicating each other.

Ragini MMS Review: 6/10

The most important thing for a horror movie is the surprise element which was a little lost in Ragini MMS, especially for those who have seen movies like Paranormal Activity and The Blair Witch Project. The special effects and the camera works are impressive and the direct acting approach of the actors are appealing. Those who were looking for really steamy and tempting visuals may get disappointed as those visuals may turn into horrific scenes.

Paranormal Activity Review: 9/10

When the movie came then concept of the whole movie shot on a Handy Cam kept on the Tri-pod was superiorly unique which made the whole difference to the movie. The movie was a low budget which made its visuals very raw and not too filled with special effects which worked for the benefit of the movie. The only disappointing angle was the multiple ends of the movie.

Should you Watch It?

Should you watch it or not? Ummm, I would say sure why not. With the feel of a dark cinema hall and your spouse at your side this movie will definitely give some "hold me tight" moments. Also Kainaz Motivala is really worth watching
