Shashi Tharoor – Cattle Class Controversy

Congress wanted to fly their minister in economy class to save tax payer money. On one hand Congress was asking their minister to control their expenses incurred by tax payers money and same time Minister like Shashi Tharoor was living in five star hotel.

What was the Shashi Tharoor Controversy about:

Shashi Tharoor tried to explain reason for living in five star Hotel. He was living on hotel as there was delay for allotment of house in Delhi and he was traveling too much between Kerala and Delhi so he booked himself a room in five star hotel from his own money and shifted when Media made this a big issue.

Shashi Tharoor also explained his point on cattle class remark as per him it was just a word to describe service of Air Lines in economy class. It’s very commonly used word in west. He also told people interpreted it wrong way and connected his remark as remark on people traveling in economy class.

Shashi Tharoor made it very clear his point on cattle class and his stay in five star hotel so please don’t blame him now for any of above points.
