The most talked about movie of 2012 Jism 2 starring Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh is a disappointing movie even for flesh seekers. Our Review Follows:

The Former Pornstar and the USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of the Bhatt’s latest movie is her Body and well suited is the title of the movie with it. JISM 2 Sunny Leone’s debut in bollywood speaks a lot for what you can expect from her in coming times. Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt have cashed the best of there effort on Sunny Leone and her Jism by getting the raunchiest out of her.

But before you get all excited and create a herd outside the movie theaters expecting ample flesh on display then there only for sometime that has Leone’s curvaceous body and in rest every frame she appears the focus of the camera is on her deep cleavage and cherry on the cake is her  deep slits here and there most times or wears body hugging short dresses to highlight her sexy figure, despite being a porn star.

The big question is can she act? The simple and predictable answer is No. The flesh show is where the skills are with no soul expected. Partly may be, because she doesn’t understand the language. Or it may be that the kind of cinema she has appeared in for so many years, didn’t expect her to emote more than one emotion. The story itself is such a letdown that one wonders whether the Bhatts paid any attention to the story. The only thing they all (producers director scriptwriter and all ) had in mind was to make a slick film with all other ingredients like music, great locations, art direction which is for sure incidentally credited to Pooja Bhatt.  Is the film sexy then? By any stretch of imagination it is, but as I said earlier, viewers looking for sex and masala, will be sorely disappointed but being sex and erotica as the base theme you will get some satisfying moments.

Jism 2 Storyline:

Ayaan (Arunoday Singh) and his superior officer Guru Saldanah (Arif Zakaria) promise to  give Izna (Sunny Leone) a sum of ten crores to take revenge on Kabir (Randeep Hooda), her former lover who went from honest cop to political assassin. Ayaan tells Izna that she would be in reality doing a great service for the nation. Because Kabir left her and vanished, and she needs to find out the reason, she too agrees.  Hence, on the pretext of being engaged to Ayaan, Izna moves next door to Kabir in Sri Lanka, who is hiding out as a musician. She walks about wearing tiny shorts, skimpy tops and as expected, Kabir still finds her irresistible. Seeking his secret data, Izna fakes leaving Ayaan to marry Kabir. But there’s a problem – Ayaan’s in love with Izna. And Kabir’s is all too knowing to let her have her way.

Sunny Leone plays a character called Izna who is a porn star by profession and while Randeep Hooda is his usual dependable self, stressing on his syllables and enunciating his lines with internalized emotion…well, as much as was possible with a script that barely moves. But it is Arunoday Singh who seems straight out of a cardboard factory – so ineffective he looks and even performs miserably.

Thankfully the script doesn’t demand much out of Leone who only manages to knit her eyebrows in exasperation while trying to truly understand what is going in, in terms of the proceedings. In that sense, she could be really natural, making an effort to be as effective as the thin script prods along, except towards the climax when there is a turnaround and viewers are jolted out of slumber to get ready for some action. To be fair, Leone looks innocent and very very chic. That she has excellent curves allows the camerawork to pan the camera along the contours of her perfect body.
