Delhi Bloggers MeetHaving done all the talking in words for a long time, it was now time for the Team Cupid Speaks to meet fellow Bloggers. 15th October 2011 was christened to be the grand meet and the all the invites were sent to the blogging community in Delhi. Any ways, that’s now how I am going to keep the tone of the entire article, so read below with a smile.

We had gone through a lot of preparations for our first event (everyone does that I know) and we just wanted it to go perfectly. Frankly, I was getting Goosebumps while I was on the way to our venue and so was the Speaker For The Day; Ankul Barar. It was a big day for the team Cupid Speaks and before I tell you what happened in the entire event let me thank a few people. The first Thank you by myself and Ankul Barar goes to Niraj Ramouria from Bushirt.com who were our merchandising partners for the event. Cupid Speaks and Bushirt.com connects by the love of passion. Geetika Gupta (Our Media Exe and ace Photographer), Abhimanyu Singh (Our Newly Joined Progammer) who flew down especially for the meet from Pune, Niharika Bhatia and Kushagra Dixit; Our Campus Representatives for all the hard work and the toil behind the Day being put together. We would also like to thank Jasleen and Manisha for ASOT for helping us put up a great show at their venue.

We had planned the day in a way that it could have all the colours. The planning had already started more than a month ago and we had thought and planned a lot about it. The Schedule for the day was the following.

We had invited a lot of bloggers from Delhi and the way the bloggers who turned up made us realize that Delhi was a Tech Bloggers Abode. Most of the bloggers who turned up for the meet were tech bloggers, though there were bloggers who blog about satire, social issues and finance as well but the ratio was relatively less. We had the initial introduction with all the bloggers and the then all of them talked to the audience introducing themselves and their blog and the passion. Then began, what the day actually was about; The Blogging Presentation By Ankul Barar. Ankul Barar; Cupidspeaks.com’s Co-founder and Tech Head started on with his presentation to the fellow bloggers.

The presentation primarily talked about “10 important questions related to blogging”. The presentation put forward to the bloggers was an explicit one that talked about every small question that a blogger must know. Though in a 2 hour span we cannot cover everything as the Blogosphere is an immense one but we touched upon all the topics and will carry them forward surely in the next meets to come.

Ankul Barar had a very interactive presentation wherein he shared the knowledge that he had about blogging and also shared along a few tips and tricks of the art. There was a 2-hour long talk on SEO and SMM tricks, and also the entire batch exchanged ideas. Coffee is something every geek and techie can’t live without, so without saying the day had it as well.

We also had a few competitions on the spot for the bloggers to connect their blogging skills and emotions. Organised By Bushirt.com, ASAP was a blogging contest and the winner shall be announced soon. It was great day and we got to connect with a lot of bloggers in Delhi. Sadly, I dint see any female bloggers turning up. Hopefully the next time I would see the girl brigade too. Till the next Time
