Defying all odds and caste prejudices they have got to where nobody believed anyone ever would have. Seeing a Dalit’s name in the Forbes was rare till recent but now it seems as if it is just a few years away. The above list has the names of the top ten Dalit Crorepatis of India. These are people who we have never imagined to get to the top of hierarchy and now they are just at the top. We have reservations and special arrangements for the, some look down upon at them and some sympathise with them, but these few dalits have proved that being a Dalit is much more than getting special reservations. Fighting all odds and rising above all problems these Dalits have got a place amongst the top businessmen of India.
They have set a benchmark, which is a signal for the others to follow. The time is much above criticising the fact that someone belongs to a lower cast. Given a chance anyone with capabilities and talent and make it to the stars. The list above proves this. I will keep writing about their success stories now but for now Just a Big bow to all of them.
